The Logic Panels

Each 'Splatt Controller' panel has 8 presets for 16 MIDI controllers. The top panel is modeled after the first 16 knobs on the Modular which are mapped to MIDI controllers 41-56. The bottom panel has the controls re-styled and rearranged to match their function in the 'Splatt.pch' Modular patch. You can modify any of the labels in the panel by double-clicking then entering the new name into the first text field.

Any changes in the controller knobs are automatically recorded in the current snapshot. To copy a snapshot to another position, click the 'Copy' button then select the new snapshot number. Snapshots can be selected (and copied) remotely using controller 80 on channel 1 (channel 2). The 'Multi-Snapshot' module selects snapshots simultaneously for both panels.

Changes in the controller knobs can be recorded and played back through the panels. If the panel's 'Mode' button is in the "Thru" position the played back values don't change the snapshot and are not reflected in the knobs. If it is set to the "Rec" position the knobs reflect the changes and are recorded in the current snapshot.

The 'Selective Randomizer' at the top can be configured to randomize eight separate controller numbers below 121. (Select controller number 121 or above to disable a column.) The output is randomized around the selected center value in a range set by the 'Random +/-' control. Each time you click a 'Center Value' knob a new random value is sent out. Clicking the 'Bang!' button randomizes all 8 controllers. The panel's 'Mode' button determines whether the random changes are recorded in the current snapshot. (The bottom panel has its own, dedicated randomize button.)
